The UCI-Cancer Research Institute would like to welcome all cancer community members and those interested in learning more about the amazing research being done on campus to the Campus-Wide Symposium on Basic Cancer Research.
We have an excellent group of presenters: Dr. Jianhua Yu, Dr. Suzann Duan, Dr. Stanley Ng, Dr. Mei Kong, Dr. Andre Luptak and Dr. Elizabeth Bess.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Reuben Shaw, Ph.D. Professor of Molecular and Cell Biology Laboratory and William R. Brody Chair.
Dr. Shaw will be giving a lecture on: “The LKB1 tumor suppressor: decoding downstream targets in cancer metabolism, transcription, and immunotherapy resistance”
