Please join us this fall for the 27th West Coast Retrovirus Meeting in Palm Springs, California! This workshop-style meeting recognizes historical achievements and milestones in the field of Retrovirology, while providing a forum to discuss new and unpublished information across relevant areas including antiviral drug development, viral evolution, structural virology, and virus-host interactions.

Abstract Submissions

The abstract deadline is September 1st. Please indicate if the abstract is for a short oral presentation or poster presentation or no preference. Notification of whether presentations will be talks or posters will be sent out in Mid-September. After the deadline, only poster presentation abstracts will be accepted. Please email your abstract to Nita Driscoll at nrdrisco@uci.edu and cc cri@uci.edu.

Instructions:

All abstracts must be only 1-page in length.
Arial font size 11.
One inch margins all around the page.
Bold the title.
Include institutional information.
Underline the presenter/speaker.

Poster Board :

Dimensions: 36" X 48 "
Clips or Pins will be available on-site
Posters can be printed horizontally or vertically

Schedule, Lodging and Meals

The conference begins Thursday October 5. and ends Saturday October 7 after dinner.

Registration includes lodging with check-on on 10/5 and check out on 10/8. You will receive a hotel confirmation email Mid September. If you are arriving on different dates, please email Nita Driscoll nrdrisco@uci.edu about availability for additional nights at the Hyatt. Do not contact the hotel separately.

Registration includes the following meals: Breakfast on 10/6 and 10/7, Lunch on10/6 and 10/7 and Dinner on 10/7 only.

Printed meeting programs will be available at on-site registration on 10/5. There will not be a virtual program.

Be advised, third-party companies, Ehotel Services, Exhibitor Housing Services (EHS) – also known as Exhibitor Housing Management (EHM) and Business Travel Management (BTM), are targeting conference speakers and attendees with a fraudulent travel and hotel booking scheme. The company is calling and/or emailing conference speakers and attendees and falsely claiming it is the “official” housing bureau and/or authorized by the Palm Springs HIV/AIDS Meeting to book hotel and/or travel accommodations for the conference. This is entirely FALSE. The company makes a number of FALSE and FRAUDULENT claims about the conference designed to obtain your credit card so please be aware and do not respond to this scheme.
